My friends and family know me as Correne Kelly aka Winks, Corrs, Corrsie … I’m a warm-hearted, fun-loving, God worshiping, good South African girl born and bred (bred and born?) in the South of Jozi, spending the latter part of my years in the good ‘ol North.
I’m a personal assistant to the executives of a Corporate Finance company and have been blessed with bosses and a working environment that I love. Although my jobs entails all the mundane admin duties of a personal assistant, I am lovingly referred to as “the office mom” because I pretty much run the show here. I’ve always had a passion for wedding and event planning and thankfully very often get to use my skills here at work.
Other things I love are road running, spending time in the bush with my loved ones, reading a good book, entertaining friends, going to music festivals, food festivals, wine festivals and generally enjoying the good, clean, simple things in life.
I reckon I’m a simple kind of girl with a down to earth outlook on life. I love to listen to and spend time with warm-hearted people who stand out from the rest and light up a room when they enter it!
I’m happily married to Michael Kelly and we currently live on a golf estate in Northriding. We’ve bought land though and are soon going to start building our dream home within an equestrian estate! My mom and dad live in Perth and my brother in England. I have the best in-laws a girl could ask for and am ever so grateful that I can call them family while my own are so far away!
